Like a Sea Urchin, handmade jewellery made from an imprint of a sea urchin shell by the jeweller Marie-Eve Bordeleau from Canada

Inspiration: During a trip to Western Canada, Marie-Eve Bordeleau fell in love with a sea urchin shell and she was inspired by it.

The jewellery she designs combine the simplicity of shapes and reliefs to evoke the freedom and tranquility of seaside vacations. Their lace-like patterns, highlighted by blackened cavities, are formed from an imprint of a sea urchin shell.

Wedding rings, her and him rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants are crafted from sterling silver sometimes paired with freshwater pearls or gold, and are carefully hand-polished.
