Inspiration: It is the work of a scrap wood at the École de joaillerie de Québec that gave birth to Marie-Eve Bordeleau's need to combine materials and coordinate colors. Its feminine, unique and durable pendants are inspired by shapes drawn from nature.
She applies jewelry techniques to precious wood, sometimes recycled, which she sculpts, sand, polishes and oil to highlight their natural color and grain. Sleek and classic, the pieces are paired with sterling silver and freshwater pearls.
Rewarded repeatedly since 2009 with awards of excellence for her magnificent works produced in Trois-Rivières, the jewelry artist Marie-Eve Bordeleau is driven by a strong desire for sculpture. Her jewels with organic contours are real small portable sculptures.
